Brighten Your Weekend With Tess Smith-Roberts’ Illustration Workshop & Exhibition

Tokyo-based illustrator Tess Smith-Roberts brings her playful aesthetic to Tokyo with “Still Life” — an immersive pop-up featuring a free drop-in workshop, art exhibition and merchandise shop.

Known for her bold colors and humorous depictions of food and everyday objects, Smith-Roberts invites visitors to get creative at a custom-designed drawing station.

Guests can drop by anytime during the event to sketch or collage their own whimsical still life scene, complete with cute gingham tablecloths, fresh flowers, candles and fun treats.

Paper and art supplies are provided, though attendees are welcome to bring their own tools. Beginners can follow guided drawing exercises crafted by Smith-Roberts, while seasoned creators can work freely.

Alongside the workshop, the space showcases Smith-Roberts’ original food illustrations and offers exclusive merchandise for purchase.

Admission and workshop participation are entirely free.
