Tucked away near Meiji-jingumae station, Gomaya Kuki offers a mixture of nutty and sweet tastes in their specialty menu items using ground sesame seeds. From a scoop of sesame ice cream plopped on top of pancakes or in zenzai, a traditional Japanese soup made of sweet red beans and mochi, to the Autumn Hojo Tea Parfait, the delightful staple taste of sesame seeds creates an exquisite sweet and savoury twist to your menu choice. You can even choose between two intensities of sesame flavour in your ice cream; either pick tokunou (strong) or chou tokunou (super strong). And if you’re daring, try the goma shio, or sesame salt flavour. Visitors can relax while enjoying their unique ice cream in the modern and sleekly designed shop with wooded accents and western acoustic music playing in the background.
