I left my home at my ashram to visit the larger sister ashram in Kerala. The overnight journey by train was not my most comfortable trip, despite the luxury of a two-bunk room (shared with a local woman). Nonetheless, I love travel in India by train. I relaxed for a day, visiting with a few friends connected to my ashram in Tamil Nadu and my teacher, Maniji.

I have never related to talks about yoga as ‘this kind and that kind,’ as if they were all different. Over the years, many different styles and names for yoga have evolved, but really yoga, like the name (meaning union) suggests, is only one thing.
