China has vowed to work with Mexico in the upcoming G20 summit. China’s Vice Premier Wang Qishan met with Mexican Finance Jose Antonio Meade, ensuring the success of the summit which Mexico will be hosting in Los Cabos in June.
The G20 is a group of emerging economies. Wang urged Meade to enhance communication, coordination, consensus building, and cooperation within the group for it to attain success.
The top priority for the summit will be to ensure recovery, growth, and employment as Wang described the present situation of the world economy is “complicated and grim”. Meade appreciates China’s dedication to ensure the success of the summit, further stating that Mexico is ready to coordinate with China on this.
