Starting this March, there’s a new reason to visit Tsutaya O-East: Its bar has been remodeled and reopened as DJ Bar Azumaya.
At Azumaya, top DJs play dance music like house and techno while Kikisakeshi-certified bartenders offer up local sake and cocktails made using Japanese spices.
The interior was designed by Hirokazu Yamazaki of the post-rock/instrumental band toe, and features art by Shinpei Kashihara, who uses unique colors with a mix of Western and Eastern art materials and techniques.
Visit Azumaya for a unique blend of Japanese and Western, not to mention great music, right in the heart of Shibuya.
