A Christmas Party 450 Meters Above Ground
Tokyo Skytree will host a festive Christmas event throughout the observation deck, with cute photo spots and seasonal exclusive menus and goods.
With the theme of “Christmas party in the sky,” the venue will be filled with Christmas trees, toys, lights and presents. At the Tembo Galleria, guests can walk through an assortment of decorated paths and photo spots, including a giant cake installation. Staff will be walking around wearing Christmas accessories. From December 1 to December 25, guests who say “Dream Christmas” to staff will receive an original sticker featuring the event characters.
On the Tembo Deck, a special Christmastime film will be screened on the panoramic display of the Skytree Round Theater. The presentation will feature two alternating short stories to ring in the Christmas spirit. Shows start at 17:30.
The Tembo Deck will also welcome a variety of performers on December 17, 18, 24 and 25. Artists include Ace Collection, Tota, Ms. Ooja and Yoko Takahashi. Performances are free to attend with admission to the observation deck, and will start at 19:30.
The Skytree Cafe will serve limited edition cocktails, meals and treats. Dishes include a Christmas tree pancake plate, a grilled chicken and roast beef plate, a strawberry sweets cocktail and a pistachio donut. Guests can also try creating a custom float as a fun activity. The cafe offers nine colors/flavors such as red acerola soda, green melon soda and purple grape soda. The floats can be topped with ice cream, monaka wagers, color sprays, sugar decorations, ribbons and chocolates.
The Skytree Shop will be selling merchandise featuring exclusive artwork for the event. Seasonal goods include handkerchiefs, mugs, drawstring bags, magnets, keychains and other souvenirs.
