Wander Through Gomi Taro’s World of Picture Books
Explore the whimsical world of picture books at the Picture Book World Exhibition, presented at the Mikka Lirio Ichibankan Building.
Themed around Gomi Taro, a picture book author who has written and illustrated over 400 books to date, the exhibit will showcase seven picture books as representations of Taro’s work, including The Goldfish That Ran Away, the game book series and his latest book I Am a Ship, which won the Grand Prize at the 30th Japan Picture Book Awards. Many of his picture books have been translated and published around the world, captivating hearts worldwide. Taro adds a natural playfulness into the development of thinking skills, which guests will be able to fully experience at the exhibition.
