Restaurant 1899 Ochanomizu is holding a summer-exclusive Matcha Beer Garden event with an entirely tea-themed menu. From drinks, to food and desserts — all offerings are completely dedicated to tea. Advance reservations can be made online.
Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-drink experience featuring 18 types of alcoholic drinks made with tea, including Matcha Beer, Hojicha Black Beer and Matcha Highball, as well as four non-alcoholic Japanese tea mocktails. For a full list of drinks, please see here.
There will be a total of 40 tea-inspired dishes, including 13 new tea-infused variations of the beer garden’s standard menu. There will also be five types of tea sweets, such as the 1899 Tea Parfait. For a full menu, please see here.
The Matcha Beer Garden offers three exclusive platter plans that include a luxurious plate meat dishes and grilled vegetables to pair with the drinks. These plans can be reserved online.
