A Chic Garden Party with Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty is coming to Roppongi Hills for a special garden party-themed pop-up event.
The iconic character is the face of Sanrio, and celebrated her 5oth anniversary last year with fans around the world. With the theme of “togetherness,” Sanrio aims to connect the world through kindness. As November 1 is Hello Kitty’s official birthday, the pop-up will kick off the designated “Hello Kitty Week.”
Guests will be greeted by a nearly two-meter-tall entrance gate in the shape of Hello Kitty’s head. The Picnic Garden will feature an aesthetic English garden-inspired space with photo spots.
There will also be a fragrance area where guests can receive a mini sample bottle of one of four new Hello Kitty fragrances. The scents include:
- Mama’s Apple Pie: a slightly sweet fragrance with fruit and a hint of vanilla
- Little Flower: a mix of floral fragrances
- Rainy Piano: a fresh marine fragrance
- My Ribbon: a herb and citrus fragrance
Samples will be given at random, while supplies last.
The event will also have merchandise for sale, featuring various Sanrio characters in monochrome houndstooth designs. The pop-up shop’s lineup includes 35 items including plush toys, charms and pouches.
Advance lottery tickets are available to followers of the official Hello Kitty Line account. Same-day registration will also be available at the venue.
