A Magical Afternoon Tea

Cardcaptor Sakura is coming to Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya with a pop-up themed cafe featuring beloved characters from the hit magical girl series.

Cardcaptor Sakura by the manga group known as Clamp, was serialized in the monthly shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi from 1996 to 2000 and grew to a worldwide classic of the genre. 

The cafe features food, drinks and exclusive merchandise, and will be open in:

  • Tokyo at Atari Cafe & Dining Ikebukuro Parco: September 12 to October 20
  • Osaka at Collabo Index Shinsaibashi: September 18 to October 26
  • Nagoya at Kawara Cafe & Kitchen Nagoya Parco: September 19 to October 27

Reservation can be made online here. Customers who make a reservation will receive a free paper ticket when they visit the cafe.

Food and Drinks

The cafe’s menu has a variety of selections inspired by the manga/anime. Dishes include Sakura and Akiho’s homemade croquettes and beef stew, Blaze and Aqua’s omelet curry, Sakura’s Key to Dreams parfait and Kero-chan’s citrus lemon tea. The showstopper menu item is Sakura and Tomoyo’s royal afternoon tea set that includes sandwiches, macarons and other snacks to compliment special tea flavors curated especially for each featured character. The set also comes with a Kero-chan acrylic muddler that customers can take home following their tea time. 

For every menu item ordered, customers will receive a random character coaster.

Exclusive Merchandise

The cafe will have exclusive merchandise, including a diorama stand, embroidered buttons, acrylic stands, hologram stickers, compact mirrors, handkerchiefs and more. To go with the afternoon tea theme, plates, teacups and saucers will also be available for purchase. 

Customers who spend at least ¥3300 will receive a random postcard.
