The BEATINK Listening Space Arrives in Harajuku

The BEATINK Listening Space is set to appear in Harajuku this November, following its successful run in Osaka. Throughout the month, the pop-up will showcase an array of products from over 20 popular labels distributed by BEATINK, including vinyl, apparel such as T-shirts and hoodies and special items like slipmats and record cartridges.

Participating labels include global indie leaders like Warp, Ninja Tune, Domino and the Beggars Group (4AD, Matador, Rough Trade, XL Recordings, Young), alongside artist-run imprints such as Adrian Sherwood’s On-U Sound, Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder and David Byrne’s Luaka Bop. Guests can expect a vast selection of records, from the latest releases to historical masterpieces.

Premium Sound and Collaborations

The Harajuku venue, located at Authors Harajuku B1F, promises a premium listening experience. It will feature a collaboration with BWV, a speaker brand providing a state-of-the-art speaker system. The acoustics and atmosphere will be organically integrated through a spatial design collaboration with OFFICE KINPON, offering a beautifully curated listening experience.

The space is part of the Authors Harajuku project — a cultural hub — and will host various collaboration events, workshops (like coffee tasting by Overview Coffee), film screenings by Kino Iglu, and talk sessions during its run, making it a unique destination for all music enthusiasts.
