Sir Jackie Stewart Returns to Fuji
Sir Jackie Stewart OBE will return to Fuji Speedway, 60 years after winning the 1966 Fuji 200 in a Lola T-90. The three-time Formula 1 World Champion will be guest of honor at a charity gala dinner in support of Race Against Dementia, the foundation he established following Lady Helen Stewart’s dementia diagnosis in 2014.
The gala will take place at the stunning Fuji Speedway Hotel’s “The Circuit” ballroom, opening the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Fuji race weekend. Sir Jackie will wave the green flag at the race on Sunday.
Guests will join drivers, team principals and figures from the international motorsport community for a black-tie dinner, with a fundraising program in support of Race Against Dementia’s research into dementia prevention and treatment. The foundation applies the methodology and urgency of Formula 1 engineering to dementia research, funding early-career scientists working on breakthrough approaches. The event builds on the 2025 Race Against Dementia Tokyo Charity Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, which raised over ¥10 million and brought Formula 1 leadership together with Japan’s motorsport community.
Attendance to the gala is by table purchase, with a limited number of individual seats and corporate tables available.
