You’ve never eaten a sandwich like this!

Wawich, a new sandwich shop in Tokyo produced by Bear Branding Inc., offers sandwiches with ingredients packed into an eight-centimeter-square cube of bread.

It’s a Japanese sandwich that’s not just delicious, it’s fun to look at!

The bread is made with Japanese wheat or whole grain flour, and the vegetables are also sourced in Japan.

Wawich is short for “what a sandwich!” and the visual design of the shop was based on a brand identity of “fun.” The shop reached 248% of its goal on crowdfunding site Makuake before opening.

Wawich is just a seven-minute walk from Meguro Station.
