Legendary Manchester venue The Hacienda is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the club’s co-founder, ex-Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook, has brought the party to Japan. This weekend (28 and 29 April) the beachside Oiso Prince Hotel, in Kanagawa, will be taken over by an array of top bands and DJs including The Charlatans, The Whip, Zombie Nation and X-Press 2. Mr. Hook himself will also be joining in on the action, playing a very special Joy Division set… not to be missed!
To mark this historic occasion, Weekender have got our hands on a pair of tickets, and we’ll give them to one lucky reader. To be in with a chance of winning, please answer the following question:
Ian Brown, Mani, John Squire and Reni recently reformed which Manchester band?
1. Happy Mondays
2. The Stone Roses
3. Inspiral Carpets
