Relive the Cinema Magic

After an impressive 100-year history in Japan, Warner Bros. Japan LLC will end its theatrical distribution operations on December 31, 2025. As a thank you to all of the fans who have enjoyed Warner Brothers’ movies for all of these years, Warner Bros. will be holding a memorial event in Tokyo and Osaka.

The Warner Bros. Movie Fan Festival will run from December 15 to December 23. A total of 13 iconic films from the studio’s library will return to select theaters as a final sendoff. The lineup includes:

  • Enter the Dragon (original theatrical release version, 1973)
  • Blade Runner: The Final Cut (original version, 1982)
  • The Bodyguard (1992)
  • The Matrix (1999)
  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (dubbed version, 2001)
  • The Dark Knight (2008)
  • Gran Torino (2009)
  • Inception (2010)
  • Rurouni Kenshin (2012)
  • Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
  • The Intern (2015)
  • Gintama (live action version rerelease, 2017)
  • It (rerelease, 2017)

The Tokyo festival will take place in Marunouchi Piccadilly movie theater in Chiyoda City. The Osaka venue will be at Namba Parks Cinema. Tickets will be available to purchase online three days before each screening, and at the theater box office two days before each screening. Please check the screening schedules for each film on the theater websites. Tickets will be ¥1500 for adults, seniors and university students, and ¥1000 for high school students and younger. 

Attendees will receive a special event postcard as a commemorative gift.
