A Performance that Recalls Japanese Gods
Team Mix Up misc. presents “Strings,” a performance combining bunraku (traditional puppet theater), kinbaku (Japanese bondage), music and a theatrical reading of Kumo no Ito, or Spider’s Web, by Ryunosuke Akutagawa at Harusame Temple Hall near Osaki station.
The performance will feature an international cast — Samuel, an American musician known for creating his original musical instrument with chopsticks, and Caiya, a worldwide model, actress and businesswoman based in Japan, as well as Yuko Miyamoto, a cast member of Disney’s Shogun and the founder of Team Mix Up misc.
