Dazzling Lights and Fireworks
Sagamiko Mori Mori, which is roughly an hour from central Tokyo, will host a New Year’s countdown event featuring DJs, live music, a special raffle and fireworks.

The Kanagawa amusement park’s Sagamiko Illumillion is one of the biggest Kanto region illumination displays, with over six million lightbulbs. The main area features a 15-meter tree and a light show that combines music, video and special effects for a nighttime spectacle. The illuminations’ brilliance doesn’t stop at just the park landscape — attractions are also covered with colorful lights for a magical experience. Guests can race down the Magical Wave slide or fly over a sea of rainbow-colored lights on the chair lift.
The countdown festivities will start at 20:00 with an opening introduction by MC Hayato Minami. This will be followed by DJ Hi-6 and DJ Soh, and live music by artists Kota Okamoto, Yukihiro Tanaka and eight-member group Protea.
Guests can participate in a Grand Raffle for ¥500. At 22:00, the raffle draw will announce the winners. A free drink will be given with every ticket purchase at Mori gift shop.
Counting down to the new year, DJs and the MC will play hit songs from 2025 which will conclude with a fireworks show at midnight. The countdown event is free, but requires admission to the theme park.

Until May 2026, the park is also celebrating a Tamagotchi collaboration. Guests can take photos at cute photo spots with the popular game characters and enjoy various updated attractions. The Tamagotchi Starry Sky Pedal takes riders 100 meters up in a two-seat bicycle attraction. The Tamagotchi Sparkling Canary ferris wheel is a great way to see a panoramic view of the park’s boundless illuminations. A Lab Tama station will also be set up nearby Lake Sagami Mori Mori, where Tamagotchi players can receive exclusive in-game collaboration items. Tamagotchi Sparkling Illuminations at Lake Sagami will end at 23:00.
