Participate in the Legendary Minami-Koshigaya Awa Odori
The Awa Odori dance is one of Japan’s most beloved summer traditions. At festivals, dancers move together through the streets, accompanied by drums, flutes and cheerful chanting. And the Minami-Koshigaya Awa Odori in Saitama is one of Japan’s three major Awa Odori festivals, drawing thousands of visitors every summer.
For those who want a rare and fully immersive experience, this one-day-only tour will allow you to learn choreography from local dancers, wear your own traditional happi coat (yours to keep!) and actually participate in the parade alongside other Awa Odori teams.

Happi coats are available in adult and child sizes
The full tour experience spans eight hours and includes a BBQ lunch, a dance workshop, participation in the Nagashi-odori parade and English-language support throughout.
Connect with local culture, meet fellow participants, and create unforgettable summer memories.
