Three Days of Art, Music and Fireworks at LuckyFes 2025
LuckyFes, Japan’s fastest-growing music festival, returns this summer from August 9 to 11 with more than 100 artists performing across four stages. The genre-spanning lineup includes big names like Atarashii Gakko!, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Hyde, T.M.Revolution, Wednesday Campanella, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Dragon Ash and Orange Range.
Held in the coastal Hitachi Seaside Park — just two hours from Tokyo — LuckyFes turns the seaside landscape into a playful dreamworld, complete with large-scale art installations, fireworks and immersive summer experiences. Alongside the music, festivalgoers can enjoy an array of food stalls offering both classic Japanese festival fare and regional specialties from Ibaraki.
Founded in 2022 after the departure of Rock in Japan Festival from the region, LuckyFes was born from local passion and a desire to keep music culture alive in Ibaraki. Last year, the festival welcomed 60,000 attendees over three days. Now in its fourth edition, it’s expected to draw over 90,000 people for a long weekend of music, art, food and celebration.
