A Special Collaboration Between Dennis Kuipers and Shinji Ishida
In early August, Le Pristine Tokyo in Hotel Toranomon Hills is presenting a special two-day culinary collaboration between Executive Chef Dennis Kuipers and Shinji Ishida, the owner-chef of the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant Nogizaka Shin. Titled “Celebrate the Charm of Summer,” it takes place exclusively on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2025.
It will bring together Kuiper’s innovative “New Italian” cuisine and Ishida’s exquisitely refined Japanese culinary artistry. The special menu showcases a vibrant selection of summer delicacies, including ingredients such as conger, eel, octopus, sea urchin and langoustine.
Enhancing the experience is a wine pairing course curated by two award-winning sommeliers: Satoru Mori and Yasuhide Tobita. Both are acclaimed in international wine competitions and trained in Japanese and European wine traditions.
