Katamari Damacy Is Getting Its Own Pop-Up Cafe in Shibuya Parco
The wonderfully weird world of Katamari Damacy is rolling into real life with its very first pop-up cafe, and it’s landing right in the heart of Shibuya. Inspired by the cult-favourite video game, the cafe is packed with playful details, themed dishes, drinks and desserts, as well as exclusive merch for longtime fans and curious newcomers alike.
On the menu: dishes and desserts based on your favorite characters and stages, like the Cousin Miso miso soup set (served in a bowl shaped like its head), a Cow Stage-inspired ice cream plate, and a colorful King of All Cosmos parfait. Each order comes with one of eight random collectible coasters, and drinks are also themed after key characters. There’s also a merch corner full of limited-edition goodies from holographic stickers and acrylic mascots to a replica of Miso’s miso bowl.
Customers who make an advance reservation will receive a special Katamari Damacy paper craft card upon arrival.
