Combining Japan’s Brewing Traditions with a Western Passion for Terroir
For one night only on August 22, Roku Roku is hosting an Edo-mae sushi, Japanese sake and wine pairing dinner in collaboration with Kuheiji, a sake brewery that was established over 350 years ago. Based in the town of Kurodasho, Hyogo Prefecture, Kuheiji combines Japan’s brewing traditions with a Western passion for terroir across its range of sake and wine options.
This special dinner will encompass three Japanese sake varieties, all of which express the subtleties of Kurodasho’s terroir, as well as three different kinds of wine from the brewery’s Burgundy estate, Domaine Kuheiji. It’s set to be an unmissable celebration of Japanese brewing, elegantly paired with a sushi kaiseki course from Roku Roku’s expert chefs.
