Japan’s Biggest NYE Music Fest
Countdown Japan 2526 will be a five-day music festival to commemorate the new year with a bang.
The event, commonly nicknames CDJ, is Japan’s largest New Year’s Eve music festival and has been bringing in crowds since 2003. This year’s party is the first time that the festival will be held over five days. The event will be hosted at Makuhari Messe from December 27 to December 31.

A wide variety of artists will be performing during the festival. The lineup includes NiziU, Vaundy, Sky-Hi, Kyary Pampyu Pamyu, Cutie Street, Kitani Tatsuya, Creepy Nuts, Fruit Zipper, Le Sserafim, Saucy Dog, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Atarashii Gakkou Leaders, Tomorrow x Together, Ano, SixTones and many more. Countdown Japan will be offering access bus tours connecting Shinjuku, Yokohama, Omiya, Mito, Kawasaki and Hachioji to the Makuhari Messe venue to avoid crowded trains and traffic. On December 31 following the new year celebrations, a late-night bus will be available from the venue at 26:00 to Shinjuku, Yokohama and Kawasaki.
