A Taste of Australia for the Holidays

Australian all-day dining brand Bills (stylized as bills) will offer its limited-time “Christmas Dinner Course 2025” across all eight Japan locations from December 19 – 25. Reservations are now open for this holiday special course.

This year’s menu incorporates highlights from the restaurant’s Autumn/Winter 2025 lineup, blending Australia’s vibrant, multicultural food culture with Japan’s seasonal ingredients. Guests can enjoy a light, health-minded holiday dinner, paired with Australian wines specially selected by the Sydney-based area bar manager.

A Hearty Winter Course Dinner

The course features a choice of three mains, including Angus rump steak with grilled shimeji mushrooms and house-made green olive tapenade; roasted cod with steamed winter greens and chili-ginger dressing; and a new pasta plate of orecchiette tossed in aromatic house-made XO sauce, topped with ricotta, capers, kalamata olives and a sourdough-breadcrumb crumble inspired by southern Italian home cooking. Dessert is a choice between two bills favorites: the signature ricotta pancakes or a seasonal “winter pavlova” starring Japanese persimmon.

Wine pairings include Vermentino from Brave New Wine, Grenache from Vanguardist Wines and Chardonnay from Hoddles Creek Estate. The Vermentino, selected exclusively for this course, offers bright citrus aromas, curry leaf spice and a smooth, refreshing finish.

Across Japan, each bills restaurant expresses its local neighborhood through unique interiors and design, offering guests the choice of a familiar go-to or a special, atmospheric setting for the holidays. Whether in Shichirigahama or Ginza, the Christmas Dinner Course delivers a warm, celebratory taste of Australia.
