Countdown to Christmas in Style
A cherished winter tradition at Blue Note Place continues again this year. Taro Kawahara, a leading force in today’s contemporary music scene, will return for a special Christmas Eve performance to celebrate his first new album in three years, Tendre.
Taro Kawahara debuted in 2017 with “Red Focus” and has written, produced and collaborated with both domestic and international artists such as Yasuyuki Hirogome, Tomita Lab and Benny Sings. Kawahara also worked on the theme song for the NHK morning information program “Asaichi.”
Kawahara will be joined by Jun Miyakawa on piano, keyboard and organ. Miyakawa is known for his groovy and genre-defying style. Together, this exclusive duo set promises a blissful evening immersed in exquisite music.
Blue Note Place’s Christmas dinner package will serve four dishes, including snow crab tartare, flounder papillote and sparkling wine.
