Jodogahama Beach, located in Miyako city, Iwate Prefecture, is one of Tohoku’s most breathtaking coastal destinations. Best Times To Visit Jodogahama Beach
The ideal time to visit Jodogahama Beach is during summer, from late July through August, when temperatures are warm enough for swimming and the weather is generally stable. During this peak season, the beach offers full facilities including boat tours, kayak rentals and lifeguard services. However, this is also the busiest period.
Winter visits are possible for those interested in the dramatic coastal scenery which can be covered in snow, but most water activities and some facilities are closed, and the area can be quite cold and windy.
