A short walk from the Akihabara’s neon lights, maids and game centers will bring you to this unassuming building where an Indonesian-run mosque can be found on the fifth floor. You can find decorated prayer rooms where Arabic calligraphy can be found, as well as helpful signs in both Japanese and Indonesian. The mosque has regular events with the well-known Japanese Imam, Sheikh Ahmad Maeno. There is even a halal restaurant across the street with halal versions of ramen, gyoza and Japanese curry.
