Ally Hongo

Tokyo Weekender's Chief Digital Content Manager. From Bulgarian native to practically a Tokyoite, Ally has spent the better part of 20 years living in Japan. Taking full advantage of her perfect charm, Ally has a knack for instantly putting people at ease and talking for hours like life-long friends, and in turn, is entrusted with telling their stories to the rest of us through her writing. One could describe Ally as passionate, adventurous and irritatingly positive. She lives with her husband, son, and two very fat cats — which (in their defence) may very well be attributed to the fact that Ally considers cucumbers with cream “a salad.”
