Zen 2.0 Global Mindfulness Forum

The Zen 2.0 Foundation will convene Zen 2.0, Japan’s first large-scale forum on Zen and mindfulness, at Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura, the first temple in Japan dedicated to Zen training, and at the adjacent Kamakura Gakuen High School.

Over the course of two days, the 2018 Zen 2.0 forum will host a diverse range of forms, from traditional cultural practices to cutting-edge technologies, and will provide participants with opportunities for exchange, interaction, and growth.

Internationally renowned guest speakers include Rev. Master Roshi Shodo Yoshida, 240th head priest of Kencho-ji Temple; Dai Tamesue, the first Japanese sprinter to win a medal in a track event at a world competition; and Stanford University professor Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu, a psychologist of wellness education.
