This unique Tokyo walking event sees small teams attempt to visit every station on the JR Yamanote line on foot within a 12-hour time limit. Teams are provided with a suggested route on Google Maps but are free to take their own shortcuts, and must take a photograph at each of the stations along the way. This charity challenge is organized by International Volunteer Group (IVG) with all proceeds going to Plan International’s Vietnam project, which helps to build a better future for children. If you want to get in on the action you need to pay an entry fee and register a team of three to four people by April 27, then get ready to put on your walking shoes for a good cause. If you want to send off or cheer on the participants then the start/finish line is the Tokyo Tokia Building, near Tokyo Station.
