A huge collection of works from Hungary’s largest art museums will be on show in Japan for the first time. Commemorating 150 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Hungary, this large-scale exhibition displays 130 masterpieces spanning 400 years of art history. Treasures from Budapest: European and Hungarian Masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest and the Hungarian National Gallery showcases various mediums including paintings, drawings and sculpture from the Renaissance period to the early 20th century by native Hungarian and renowned European artists. Don’t miss the chance to see the highlights and prize possessions of two of Hungary’s greatest fine art institutions.
