Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2018

Experience the Japanese traditional tea culture in a casual, welcoming environment with professional teachers at this annual autumn tradition.

The Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2018 will be held at two renowned locations in Tokyo in order to pass on this unique Japanese tradition and cultural entertainment both at home and abroad. Everyone is welcome including tourists, children and those not familiar with tea ceremony.

Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony, which started in 2008, will be held over four days at Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum (Koganei City) on October 13 and 14, and at Hama-rikyu Gardens (Chuo City) on October 20 and 21. Both venues will offer special programs in English as well as traditional Japanese performances and workshops.
