Tokyo Grand Tea Ceremony 2017 – Hamarikyu Gardens
The annual Grand Tea Ceremony welcomes the public to participate in one of Japan’s finest traditions. Two large scale events are planned, with Hamarikyu Gardens’ weekend preceded two weeks earlier by the Edo Open-Air Architectural Museum. There are a variety of ceremonies held throughout the day both indoors and outside, including tea ceremonies with English explanation. Other attractions relating to traditional culture, including performances, can be enjoyed as part of the weekend’s festivities. You can check the full schedule of events and make a reservation at the event website.
