Tokyo City Flea Market
A bargain hunter’s heaven – Tokyo’s biggest and best weekly flea market boasts up to 600 sellers! Held in the Ohi Racetrack parking lot in Shinagawa, Tokyo City Flea Market operates on Saturdays and Sundays every weekend for most of the year (the event is canceled in the case of bad weather). From regular families to serious collectors and house clearance businesses, there is always a wide range of sellers at this event, in addition to a selection of no-frills food stalls and refreshments. Prices tend to be more reasonable than some of the city’s other smaller and more fashionable markets, with the goods on offer here ranging from miscellaneous junk to brand new deadstock items. So whether you’re looking for home goods, secondhand clothes or a box of unknown treasures to dig through, it will be a challenge to head home empty-handed. You never know what you might find!
