Tokyo 150 Years

As Japan celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration, the nation’s capital commemorates its name change from Edo to Tokyo. This special exhibition displays photographs, videos, and maps made throughout “new” Tokyo’s 150-year history, showing how the city has evolved in this time. It’s also a rare opportunity to see city plans and projects that were never implemented — explore the city as it never was, but could have been.
