The Masters of Arts: Suito Nakatsuka and Kenichiro Ooe
The second edition of the Park Hyatt’s Masters of Arts event will feature a combination of dynamic calligraphy, traditional Japanese pottery and Kozue’s Chef de Cuisine Kenichiro Ooe’s home-style seasonal summer cuisine.
During a limited period from July 15 to 31, the restaurant Kozue will host an elegant menu that includes conger, abalone and shrimp, and a colorful selection of summer vegetables, all delicately served on high quality Karatsu-yaki pottery and Arita-yaki porcelain dishes decorated by the renowned calligrapher, Suito Nakatsuka.
The Karatsu ceramics that Nakatsuka will paint on are hand-crafted by the celebrated Japanese potter, Sakurei Okamoto and are made exclusively for this promotion. The perfect harmony of Chef Ooe’s seasonal menu presented on the ceramic art series are an elegant way to appreciate the Japanese summer.

A selection of Nakatsuka’s works will be displayed at Kozue during this period and guests will have the opportunity to meet her in person at either The Masters of Arts special dinner or The Masters of Arts workshop event, which is scheduled to be held in July.
The special Masters of Arts dinner will be held on July 14, from 18:30. The price for the dinner is ¥25,000 and includes all food and drink, as well as an opportunity to meet Suito Nakatsuka. It will be limited to 65 guests, so make your reservations quickly: http://restaurants.tokyo.park.hyatt.co.jp/en/ or 03-5323-3460.
