Opera: The Tales of Hoffmann *Canceled*

Jacques Offenbach wrote The Tales of Hoffmann, which depicts three tales of heartbreak, as his one and only opera piece. The opera performance at New National Theatre, Tokyo will be conducted by Marko Letonja, music director of Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Leonard Capalbo, world-renowned opera actor, takes on the role of Hoffmann while Yuka Kobayashi plays the role of Nicklausse, La Muse, Yoko Yasui as Olympia, Mihoko Kinoshita as Antonia, Keiko Yokoyama as Giulietta, and Kyle Ketelsen as Lindorf, Coppélius, Miracle, Dapertutto.
