Tabisuru Shintora Market: Autumn Edition
Aiming to connect regional Japan to Tokyo, this ongoing market is situated next door to Toranomon Hills. For roughly three months at a time, select areas in Japan will get a chance to showcase their local delicacies, crafts, and in some cases, cultural performances. The autumn 2017 edition is inspired by the theme “Craftsmanship nurtured by nature and gentle breezes,” and features six regions showcasing their specialties. Komono and Suzuka in Mie, Hioki in Kagoshima, and Awashimaura, Yahiko, and Izumozaki in Niigata will host the four stands. Each area is known for their abundance of natural resources and the crafts and foods that make the most of them.
