Sukiyaki Tokyo 2017
Sukiyaki Tokyo is an annual World Music Festival that was born out of a project originating in Toyama Prefecture. Each year the organizers invite guests from around the world to perform in Tokyo, introducing a diverse selection of World Music and culture to a new and different audience. Day one showcases the powerful vocals of griot storyteller Noura Mint Seymali from Mauritania, and the flamboyant Turkish singer songwriter Gaye Su Akyol. Day two features French Canadian Klô Pelgag’s charming pop alongside the duo of André Méhmari and Juan Quintero from Brazil and Argentina respectively.
