Skylight: A Play by David Hare
First performed in 1995, “Skylight” is a play by British playwright and director Sir David Hare. This outstanding piece is based on trust in the power of dialogue – in this case between a man and a woman who were once in an extramarital relationship. It’s dramatic, as tense as a tightrope, with a single word having the power to drastically upset the equilibrium. This portrayal of human relationships is pared to the bone with just three characters, only two of whom appear on stage at one time.
Performed in Japanese.
