Shibuya Street Dance Week

Celebrating the lively world of street dance in the vibrant heart of Shibuya. The one day event (confusingly titled ‘Shibuya Street Dance Week…) is jam packed with performances, showcases, talks and workshops. There is plenty of diverse dance action to keep you entertained as hundreds of dancers, performers and groups showcase their skills on various stages. Participate in a dance class or learn about the community groups mixing social activities with dance, take a look at the “SSDW High School Dance Contest” and check out the competition at the “Battle Park.” Hip hop, pop, lock, freestyle, step or battle style … get involved in a feast of footwork!
