Rethinking Anonymous Design – When the Name Disappears

Art

Anonymous Design refers to objects that are made by unknown designers, without a particular brand name or label. The modern world is filled with design products, not valued for its functionality. The exhibition asks us to reconsider the significance of Anonymous Design through three of Keiji Nagai’s modern works, as well as about 100 famous and unknown objects designed in the 20th century. The objects are exhibited without any reference to date, designer, and other information.
