Reflection on Racism, Diversity & Inclusion in Japan

Live Streaming

With the wave of demonstrations against racism and police brutality in the U.S., writer and creative Yukari Peerless noticed an upsurge of claims that there’s no such thing as discrimination in Japan. To help extinguish this false notion of a racial vacuum, she invited a group of pundits to discuss systemic racism in Japan and the more insidious ways discrimination has reared its ugly head in their personal experiences. You are invited to contribute ¥1,000 to anti-racism charities, including Anti-Racism Information Center, an NGO that deals with such issues as hate speech through research, consultation and education. The discussion will be a livestream.
