Oedo Antique Market at Tokyo International Forum
Serious collectors, casual shoppers and appreciators of vintage treasures can all enjoy this large outdoor antique market. Traders come from far and wide to set up their stalls selling everything from old kimonos, toys and ephemera to coins, ceramics, jewellery and furniture. With a balanced mix of rare niche valuables and assorted junk to rummage through, there is something to suit everyone’s pocket. If you’re a hardcore hunter then head down early, but those who prefer a lazy Sunday morning can still enjoy a leisurely browse later in the day as the market is usually in full swing until mid-afternoon.
The market is held around twice a month at Tokyo International Forum throughout the summer with it’s sister event held irregularly at Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki Street taking over in the Autumn. Note that the event may be cancelled in the case of rain.
