NNT Drama Studio Performance: “Little Boy, Big Typhoon”
Little Boy, Big Typhoon is a Japanese play written by Inoue Hisashi, depicting the city of Hiroshima in 1945 after it was devastated by the atomic bomb, which dropped in August of that year, and a severe typhoon, which followed in September. This event is a reading performance of the play by New National Theatre’s Drama Studio students who have been training since 2016 and are set to lead the way as Japan’s next generation of theater actors. The play will be performed in Japanese.
