NNT Drama Studio “Historia de una Escalera” (Story of a Stairway)

Historia de una Escalera (Story of a Stairway)” was written in 1949 by Antonio Buero Vallejo after he spent six years in prison following the Spanish Civil War. The first play penned by the Spanish playwright presents the harsh realities of several families living in a small area of Madrid through a captivating shot of social realism. The production features final year students of the NNT Drama Studio – a programme established in April 2005 and led by experts in theatrical education and prominent theater makers with the objective of training the next generation of theater actors. Don’t miss a chance to see some of Japan’s upcoming talents at the more intimate The Pit venue.

The play will be performed in Japanese.
