Nihon Buyo — Japanese Dance Workshop

Nihon Buyo is a traditional Japanese dance form that dates back almost 400 years. It uses movements from both dance and pantomime to create an elegant form of storytelling. Join this workshop to learn how to dance, as well as get some tips on how to wear yukata, too. Also, participants will be rewarded with a rendition of Fujimusume (Wisteria Maiden), a classic work, performed by a professional Nihon Buyo dancer.

Details: Workshops are available every Sunday until March 31, 2019. (Exceptions Oct 21, Nov 18, 2018, and Jan 20, Feb 17. Mar 3, 2019)

Times: 11am-12pm, 1-2pm, and 3-4pm
