“WORKS SPEAK ELOQUENTLY THAN LIPS!!!” is a NUTS ARTWORKS exhibition by craftsman Naoto Hinai, known for producing store signs and graphics for fashion brands such as Supreme, Ralph Lauren, and Uniqlo.
Hinai’s new exhibition will allow visitors to have a first-hand experience of the artist’s philosophy and ideology through a series of large, heavy two-dimensional works in which glass signage is randomly broken to create patterns. This technique, called ‘chipping, is one used since the mid-1800s only a few craftsmen in the world are still capable of. Included in the exhibition will also be a three-dimensional sculpture, a career first for the artist.
