The Nakameguro Summer Festival, which has history of over 50 years, will involve two performances: Awa Odori on the first day and Yosakoi on the second day of the festival. Awa Odori is one of the most well-known dances during Obon season and originates from Tokushima. Yosakoi is a dynamic and energetic style of group dance that features colorful costumes. The festival will also feature food stalls and Bon Odori, a traditional dance during Obon.
