Munch: A Retrospective

Stolen in 2004 and since recovered, the world-renown piece titled “The Scream” by Edvard Munch is appearing in Japan for the first time. The famous face of terror was inspected under tight security, and it seems the painting  only suffered minor damages from when it was stolen. Come to the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum to admire the star painting with a tumultuous history during this limited-time opportunity. The museum will also feature 100 other emotive and multi-faceted works primarily from the Munch Museum in Oslo, including 60 oil paintings along with prints and other works.
